دعا مجلس الاتحاد الروسي، البرلمانيين الأوروبيين إلى إدانة أعمال حرق القرآن ومحاسبة المسؤولين عن ذلك، واتخاذ إجراءات لحماية حقوق المسلمين وممثلي الديانات الأخرى.
وقالت رئيسة المجلس، فالينتينا ماتفيينكو، في بيان نشرته في قناتها على “تيليغرام”، اليوم السبت، إن “أعضاء مجلس الشيوخ في روسيا الاتحادية أعربوا عن احتجاجهم الشديد فيما يتعلق بأعمال الإسلاموفوبيا في السويد وهولندا”.
كما أكدت تأييدها لزملائها، واعتبرت أن “تدنيس القرآن الذي يرتكبه المتطرفون هو عمل همجي وكراهية للأجانب”.
وأشارت ماتفيينكو إلى أن “روسيا بلد فريد، يعيش فيه أناس من جنسيات وديانات مختلفة بسلام واحترام لعدة قرون”، مضيفة أن “تدنيس القرآن لا يصدم المسلمين فحسب، بل يصدم أيضا ممثلي جميع الطوائف في روسيا”.
وقالت إن ما يثير الغضب والاستغراب بشكل خاص هو عدم وجود أي رد فعل من حكومات وبرلمانات الدول الأوروبية على أعمال المتطرفين، وسماح أجهزة إنفاذ القانون والسلطات للمتطرفين بذلك.
وأضافت في بيانها: “نحن نعتبر ما حدث تحريضا على الكراهية بين الأديان. ومن غير المقبول تبرير الاستفزازات المعادية للإسلام بمبررات وضيعة تحت شعار حرية التعبير”.
وشهدت كل من السويد وهولندا في الأسابيع الأخيرة عمليات لحرق القرآن وتمزيقه تحت حراسة الأجهزة الأمنية وأمام عدسات المصورين، ما أدى إلى سلسلة من الإدانات والاستنكار الدولي لمثل هذه الأعمال.
