أكد الرئيس الروسي، فلاديمير بوتين، في اتصال مع نظيره الفرنسي، إيمانويل ماكرون، أن ضخ أوكرانيا بالسلاح يمثل تهديدا لروسيا، ودعا لإطلاق مفاوضات تضمن عدم توسع الناتو شرقا.وذكر الكرملين، في بيان، أن بوتين وماكرون أجريا، مكالمة هاتفية بمبادرة من الطرف الفرنسي، حيث “شرح كلا الطرفين تقديراتهما المبدئية للأوضاع المتشكلة حول أوكرانيا”.
وأفاد البيان بأن بوتين “قدم أمثلة دقيقة تدل على انتهاك كييف لاتفاقات مينسك التي تمثل أساسا لا بديل له لتسوية الأزمة الداخلية الأوكرانية”.ولفت الرئيس الروسي إلى أن السلطات الأوكرانية “تقوم عن قصد بتصعيد الأوضاع على خط التماس مع التغاضي من قبل عدد من الدول الغربية”، مشددا على أنه “يحدث ضخ أوكرانيا بالأسلحة الحديثة، الأمر الذي يمثل تهديدا مباشرا لأمن روسيا”.
وأكد بوتين “أهمية إطلاق مفاوضات دولية في أسرع وقت لوضع ضمانات مسجلة قانونيا تستبعد أي توسع لاحق للناتو إلى الشرق ونشر أسلحة تهدد روسيا في الدول المتاخمة، خاصة في أوكرانيا”، الأمر الذي تمت مناقشته كذلك في المحادثات مع الرئيس الأمريكي، جو بايدن ودعا الرئيس الروسي، حسب البيان، “الشركاء الفرنسيين إلى التعامل بالفهم مع مباعث القلق التي تم الحديث عنها والمشاركة في بحثها”.
كما تبادل بوتين وماكرون خلال اتصالهما الآراء بشان إجراءات مكافحة جائحة فيروس كورونا وبحثا الأوضاع على حدود بيلاروس مع دول الاتحاد الأوروبي والتطورات في إقليم قره باغ المتنازع عليه بين أذربيجان وأرمينيا، حيث تم التأكيد على جدوى تكثيف العمل في اتجاه الرؤساء المشاركين لمجموعة مينسك لمنظمة الأمن والتعاون في أوروبا والتي تشمل روسيا وفرنسا والولايات المتحدة”.

وذكر الكرملين، في بيانه انه طرح خلال المكالمة قضية الأوضاع على حدود بيلاروس مع دول الاتحاد الأوروبي.ودعا بوتين في هذا السياق إلى مناقشة القضايا المتشكلة في اتصالات مباشرة بين ممثلي دول الاتحاد الأوروبي مع السلطات في مينسك.ولفت بوتين، حسب البيان، إلى “انتهاك بولندا ودول البلطيق للالتزامات الدولية الخاصة بحماية حقوق اللاجئين وضرورة تسوية أزمة الهجرة بالتوافق مع أحكام القانون الإنساني”.وذكر الكرملين أنه “تم الإعراب عن الأمل في أن تتم إنهاء قضية المهاجرين على الحدود من الأجندة في اقرب وقت”.
