اعتبر الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين الاثنين بأن روسيا “مستعدة” للحرب مع أوروبا إذا أرادت الأخيرة ذلك، متهما إياها بالسعي لتخريب اتفاق لوقف القتال في أوكرانيا قبل لقائه مبعوثَين أميركيَّين.
وقال بوتين قبيل محادثات مرتقبة مع المبعوث الأميركي ستيف ويتكوف وصهر دونالد ترامب، جاريد كوشنر، “لا نخطط للدخول في حرب مع أوروبا، لكن إذا أرادت أوروبا ذلك وبدأت، فنحن مستعدون منذ الآن”.
وأضاف بوتين: “ليس لديهم أجندة سلام، إنهم يقفون في صف الحرب.”
“مطالب أوكرانيا غير مقبولة”
واتهم بوتين الأوروبيين بتعديل مقترحات السلام عبر إضافة “مطالب غير مقبولة إطلاقا بالنسبة لروسيا”، ما يؤدي إلى “عرقلة العملية السلمية بالكامل” ثم تحميل روسيا المسؤولية.
وتأتي هذه التصريحات في إطار الرواية التي تروج لها موسكو منذ عودة ترامب إلى البيت الأبيض هذا العام وبدئه محادثات مع روسيا، حيث تُصور المواقف الأوروبية الداعمة بشدة لأوكرانيا كأحد العقبات الرئيسية أمام تحقيق السلام.
من جانب آخر، وصل ويتكوف وكوشنر إلى موسكو للقاء الرئيس الروسي، غداة إعلان الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب أنه “متفائل جدا” بقرب التوصل إلى اتفاق لإنهاء الحرب المستمرة منذ أربع سنوات.
لكن رغم هذه التصريحات، نقلت شبكة ABC News عن مصادر أن المحادثات بين الوفدين الأمريكي والأوكراني في فلوريدا “لم تحرز أي تقدم” بشأن مسألة التنازلات الإقليمية.
وبحسب المصادر، فإن روسيا غير مستعدة لمناقشة وقف إطلاق النار، في حين أن أوكرانيا غير مستعدة لتقديم أي تنازلات إقليمية.
