وقالت المنطقة العسكرية الروسية الشرقية إن أكثر من 500 جندي من وحدة الدفاع الجوي بدأوا تدريبات تكتيكية على التصدي إلى عمليات الإنزال، وجرى نشر حوالي 50 وحدة من المعدات العسكرية الخاصة هناك.
وذكرت مصادر عسكرية مشاركة في التدريبات أن طائرات مسيرة تقوم باستطلاع المكان في إطار التمرين العسكري، قبل أن تقوم وحدات المدفعية بتوجيه ضربات مركزة ضد أهداف سطحية تحاكي سفن الإنزال الصغيرة لعدو افتراضي.وقالت المنطقة العسكرية الشرقية إن أطقم دبابات T-72B وأطقم المدافع ذاتية الدفع، ستقوم في المرحلة الأخيرة من التمرين بإطلاق الذخيرة الحية على أهداف تحاكي القوى العاملة والمعدات المدرعة الخفيفة لعدو افتراضي.
