وقال قائد فصيلة هندسة عسكرية تابعة لمجموعة القوات “المركز”، إنه تم تكليف الفصيلة بشحن ناقلة جند مدرعة تم اغتنامها في السابق، بالمتفجرات، وبعد ذلك انطلق هو والسائق في هذه الناقلة باتجاه المواقع الأوكرانية.

وأضاف الضابط: “على بعد حوالي 300 متر من العدو، قمنا بتوجيه الناقلة نحو موقع معاد وقفزنا منها لنعود إلى المؤخرة. بقيت للمراقبة، وبعد أن اقتربت العربة مباشرة من مواقع العدو، بمساعدة التحكم اللاسلكي، تم تفجير العبوات الناسفة. التفجير كان قويا جدا. كمية المتفجرات كانت كبيرة جدا- حوالي 3.5 طن من مادة تي إن تي، و 5 قنابل من طراز FAB-100، نتيجة لذلك تكبد العدو خسائر كبيرة”.
ووفقا لبيان الدفاع الروسية، تم الاستيلاء على مركبة قتالية MT-LB، وقام المهندسون العسكريون الروس بحشوها بالمتفجرات وإرسالها نحو معقل القوات المسلحة الأوكرانية.
وبهذا الشكل تمكن الجيش الروسي من تحويل ناقلة الجند المدرعة إلى عبوة ناسفة متحركة واستخدمها بطريقة مشابهة لطائرات كاميكازي المسيرة المستخدمة على نطاق واسع في الجبهة.
