فشلت دول الاتحاد الأوروبي في الاتفاق على حزمة جديدة من العقوبات ضد روسيا على خلفية الأزمة الأوكرانية، وجاء ذلك بحسبما ذكرته صحيفة “بوليتيكو” نقلا عن دبلوماسيين أوروبيين.

وقالت الصحيفة في تقرير لها اليوم الخميس، إن سفراء الاتحاد الأوروبي سيناقشون الآن اقتراح العقوبات خلال اجتماعهم في يوم الأربعاء المقبل بتاريخ 14 يونيو الجاري.
وفشل الدبلوماسيون الأوروبيون في التوصل إلى تفاهم حول العقوبات خلال اجتماعهم يوم أمس، حيث عارضت اليونان وهنغاريا (المجر) اقتراح أوكرانيا بإدراج العديد من الشركات من هذه البلدان في قائمة “رعاة الحرب”.
فيما تشعر فرنسا وألمانيا بالقلق من أن بنود العقويات التي تتضمن التحايل (الالتفاف) على العقوبات قد تضر بالعلاقات الدبلوماسية بين دول الاتحاد.
إلا أن أحد المصادر كشف للصحيفة عن أن دول الاتحاد الأوروبي رغم الفشل “قريبة” من التوصل إلى اتفاق بشأن حزمة العقوبات الجديدة، التي تهدف لمواجهة إجراءات الالتفاف على القيود المفروضة حتى الآن.
وبعد إطلاق روسيا عملية عسكرية خاصة في أوكرانيا، فرضت الدول الغربية عقوبات واسعة ضد موسكو، طالت رجال أعمال وشركات وقطاعات اقتصادية.
من جهتها أكدت موسكو فشل سياسة العقوبات، وشددت على أن هذه الإجراءات تضر بالاقتصاد العالمي ككل، وأنها ستدافع عن حقوقها وحقوق شركاتها ومواطنيها.
