دعت سفارة روسيا لدى اليابان اللجنة الأولمبية الدولية وهيئة تنظيم الألعاب الأولمبية لتعديل الخارطة الرسمية لروسيا في ألعاب طوكيو لأنها تظهر شبه جزيرة القرم جزءا من أراضي أوكرانيا.
وقالت السفارة الروسية، في بيان نشرته الجمعة عبر “فيسبوك”: “تمثل شبه جزيرة القرم جزءا لا يتجزأ عن الاتحاد الروسي وتم إغلاق مسألة تبعيتها بشكل نهائي لا رجعة فيه”.
وأضافت السفارة: “ننطلق من أن اللجنة الأولمبية الدولية وهيئة تنظيم الألعاب في طوكيو ستجري تعديلات مناسبة في الخارطة المذكورة تجعل صورة القرم متناسبة مع الواقع القانوني والموضوعي”.
وعادت القرم إلى قوام روسيا، الذي كانت ضمنه منذ عام 1784 وحتى سنة 1954، على خلفية اندلاع أزمة سياسية حادة في أوكرانيا في 2014، وفي 11 مارس من ذلك العام، اتخذ المجلس الأعلى للقرم ومجلس مدينة سيفاستوبل قرارا بإعلان استقلال شبه الجزيرة على خلفية تغيير السلطة في أوكرانيا.
وفي 16 من الشهر نفسه، أجري في المنطقة استفتاء شعبي شارك فيه 80% من سكان شبه الجزيرة، وصوت أكثر من 95% منهم لصالح انضمام القرم إلى أراضي الاتحاد الروسي، ودخلت في قوامه رسميا في 18 مارس، ما أثار توترا كبيرا في العلاقات بين الغرب وروسيا.
واعتبرت الدول الغربية والأطراف المتحالفة معها منذ البداية عودة القرم إلى الحضن الروسي أمرا غير شرعي يتناقض مع القانون الدولي، وفرضت عدة حزم من العقوبات الاقتصادية على روسيا على خلفية هذه القضية.
