وكانت السفارة الروسية في مصر قد قالت في بيان لها: “في 8 يونيو توفي رجل نتيجة هجوم سمكة قرش في منطقة دريم بيتش (الغردقة)، وفي هذا الصدد ، نطلب من المواطنين الروس اليقظة وتوخي الحذر أثناء التواجد في الماء”.
وطالبت السفارة المواطنين بالالتزام الصارم بالحظر المفروض على السباحة والغوص الذي فرضته السلطات المصرية، والالتزام الصارم بالإشارات الواردة من موظفي الفندق وخفر السواحل.
من جانبها، قالت الخارجية الروسية في بيان لها أن الرجل الذي التهمته سمكة القرش روسي الجنسية.
وتداول نشطاء مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي فيديو للحظة هجوم سمكة قرش على رجل في مياه الغردقة بمصر وقتله، حيث نشر فيديوهات أخرى تكشف عن اصطياد سمكة القرش من نوع “تايغر”.
